CFFO Welcomes Executive Board and Staff to New Headquarters in Ingersoll, ON

The Christian Farmers Federation of Ontario (CFFO) marked a significant milestone as the Executive Board met for the first time at their newly established head office in Ingersoll, on Wednesday September 18, 2024.

CFFO has proudly represented Christian farmers for 70 years, ensuring that their voices are heard at every level of government and within the broader agricultural community. Hosting our first board meeting in the newly purchased building is a testament to our commitment to continue supporting our members and advocating for policies that reflect Christian values, ensuring that Ontario’s Christian farmers have a strong voice at the table, now and in the future.

“As we continue to settle into this new space, we are eager to welcome members and the community,” said Ed Scharringa, CFFO President. “This office represents more than just a workspace; it’s a meeting place for Christian farmers to come together, discuss critical issues, and advance the Christian voice in agriculture.”

Tom Tavani, CFFO General Manager, added, “The location of our new office is ideal. The previous tenants, Zorra Township, invested heavily in high-quality internet capacity, which allows us to stay connected with our members across the province. We’ve hosted hybrid meetings in the past with great success, but this new setup, combined with our investment into a hybrid-style meeting room, will elevate our ability to engage with members remotely in even more effective ways.”

In addition to serving as the organization’s headquarters, the new office houses a collection of historical CFFO records, farming literature, and Christian reading materials, which will be displayed for visitors. The CFFO is looking forward to utilizing this space to continue its advocacy efforts and provide a supportive environment for its members.
